Sand& Gravel Pumps

Sand&Gravel Pumps

Sand& Gravel Pumps Types

HDG Gravel pumps are equivalent with Warman G, GH pumps, this range is the world’s standard for dredge and gravel applications. The range provides excellent wear life while maintaining efficiency during the wear cycle and the best total operating cost. A wide variety of shaft seals provide a perfect fit for a range of applications.
Construction of this pump is of single casing connected by means of clamp bands and wide wet-passage. They are designed to handle very large particles for gravel and dredging operations, could continuously handle the most difficult higher abrasive slurry, containing solids too large to be pumped by a standard slurry pump.

Pump Features

BEARING ASSEMBLY & SHAFT

The shaft is designed with a short overhang to:  Reduce shaft deflection and Minimise vibration.

– Provided with a hardened shaft sleeve to protect the shaft. – Bearing assembly is retained on a one-piece frame. – Grease-purged piston rings to help seal contaminates out of bearing housing.

IMPELLER

Enclosed impellers to maximise efficiency. – Pump-out vanes on both shrouds. – Minimises re-circulation. – Reduces stung box pressure. – High chrome liquid ends. – Interchangeable hard metal impellers.

– Impeller clearance is set by moving the bearing assembly. – High-efficiency impeller (optional).

SINGLE CASING WITH ASSEMBLY CLAMPS

– Easy assembly and disassembly of the liquid end. – Clamp design facilitates rotation of volute. – Large volute reduces friction and wear. – Minimal parts + simple design.

– Reduces or eliminates the need for gland service water. – Reduces sleeve wear and possible bearing contamination.

Advantage of Our Sand& Gravel Pumps

Dredge Pumps Real Case Study

Dredging Cases

Our dredge pumps are typically mounted on a dredger or barge and is used to create a vacuum that sucks up the material from the bottom of the waterway and transports it to a disposal site.
Dredge pumps are typically high-volume, low-pressure pumps that are designed to handle large amounts of solids and debris. They can be either centrifugal or positive displacement pumps, depending on the specific application and the type of material being dredged.
