Why is the market for desulfurization pumps developing so rapidly? With the advent of the new era, the market for desulfurization pumps is also active, because the current requirements for environmental protection are getting higher and higher. Desulfurization pump belongs to the environmental protection equipment for flue gas desulfurization in power plants, mainly conveying gypsum slurry, which plays an important role in environmental protection and emission reduction of sulfide and other pollutants.

Hydraulic design performance of FGD pumps:

1.The pump is a single-stage, single-suction centrifugal pump, which has proven to be particularly suitable for pumping abrasive and corrosive slurry in the FGD loading absorption tower cycle.

2.The impeller and wear plate have no mouth ring seal, the setting of the mouth ring will be quickly worn by the slurry, resulting in a rapid decline in pump efficiency.

3.With the axial adjustment structure, the impeller can be easily adjusted axially to maintain the clearance between the impeller and the front cover plate and wear plate, thus maintaining the efficiency of the pump. This is a simple and effective way to keep the pump running highly/efficiently.

4.The pump is laid out in the form of “pull-back” structure. Thus, when disassembling the pump impeller, mechanical seal and shaft assembly, it is not necessary to disassemble the pump inlet and outlet pipes.

5.The bearings are lubricated with thin oil. The bearings are mounted in a removable bearing housing with rubber seals to prevent dust and water from entering.

6.The large pump shaft diameter and short shaft head can reduce the deflection of the shaft in operation and extend the service life of the seal.
